Information Reality Environment Framework
Rhizome Navigation is a framework for building graph based interactive environments and interfaces for a broad range of applications. The samples below include blogosphere visualizations, text mining, genealogy visualizations and prototypes of interfaces for graph based knowledge management.
Rhizome Navigation is developed at MODUL University Vienna, Department of New Media Technology as a component of the IDIOM project. An open source release is planned for Summer 2008. Sorry, I've been really busy developing Sentiment Quiz, a Facebook application in the tradition of van Ahn's Games with a Purpose, so I had to shift back work on Rhizome Navigation. I cannot say when we are ready to release it, but let me know if you want me to keep you up to date.
